1. Agreement

By using Captur ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. "Captur" refers to the desktop application, website at captur-app.com, and related services operated by Captur.

2. Description of Service

Captur is a Visual QA and Release Validation Platform. It provides screenshot capture, visual comparison, annotation, and integration with project management tools (Jira, ClickUp). The Service is available as a desktop application for macOS and Windows.

3. Accounts and Plans

Captur offers a Free tier and a Pro tier. The Free tier includes basic features with limited spaces. The Pro tier ($12/month or $99/year) includes unlimited spaces, cloud sync, advanced comparison tools, and integrations.

New users receive a 14-day free trial of Pro features. After the trial, you may continue using the Free tier or subscribe to Pro.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious content
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all screenshots, annotations, and other content you create with Captur. We do not claim any rights to your content. When using Cloud Sync, your content is stored securely and only accessible by you.

6. Payment and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through LemonSqueezy. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Intellectual Property

The Captur application, website, branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of Captur. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Captur is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
